In other words…
We all plan to exercise—but rarely do it. Most of us are not very fit as a result. The same may be true in our marriages. We plan to invest in the relationship. But we never make time. As a result, our relationships suffer. Rather than rushing headlong into our own agendas, we can deliberately connect our lives and doings with those of our partners’.

Here’s how you can use this idea to have a better life…
Think of something you can do today to connect with your spouse. Take a walk. Sit and listen as your partner describes the events of the day. Work on a project together. Your relationship will be stronger.
