Choosing a brighter future

May 1, 2013

Here’s a great idea…

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” –Maria Robinson

In other words…

Sometimes we think that our future is determined by our past. Thankfully this isn’t true. Research shows that bad early life experiences do not condemn us to miserable adulthoods. At any point, we can change the course of our lives toward a brighter future.

Here’s how you can use this idea to have a better life…

Rather than march toward a tiresome outcome, what can you do today that will help you create a new and better future for yourself? Decide to do those things that will make your life better whether it means working to understand others, making new friends, or learning new skills.
