On the lookout for learning

June 15, 2012

Here’s a great idea…

In his publication, The Parenting Journey, H. Wallace Goddard says, “Learning and exploring enriches our lives and shows our children the value of life-long learning. Let’s be on the lookout for something new to learn.”

In other words…

One of the best ways to be a vibrant human is to keep learning and growing. People do this in many different ways. Some people take time for reflection, some listen to speeches or talk with experts and some take on new projects. Most of us like a combination of several different ways of learning and growing.

Here’s how you can use this idea to have a better life…

How do you like to learn and grow? Invite your child to be a part of your projects. Look for things you and your child can do together to learn and grow.
