Here’s a great idea…

In his book, The Pursuit of Happiness, David G. Myers says, “Happiness is having work that fits your interests and provides a sense of competence and accomplishment.” (p. 82)

In other words…

Often the way we feel about our jobs is determined by whether or not the job utilizes our strengths and interests. When we are able to use our strengths in the work place, we find more satisfaction and joy.

Here’s how you can use this idea to have a better life…

What are your strengths? What comes naturally to you? What do you enjoy doing? Find ways to incorporate these things into your job.
